Official Definition

A keyword ability that activates when you control 2 or more units in the same arena.

Technical Rulings

Coordinate abilities only function while you have 2+ units in the specified arena. Losing units may deactivate the ability.

"A unit gaining +2 power from Coordinate while you control multiple Ground units."
